This is a yummy quick and easy recipe to whip up when you have a hankering for something sweet.
Root Beer Float Cake
White cake mix (you can use chocolate, too. I've done that, and it's yum, though you don't taste the root beer as much)
2 1/4 cup root beer, chilled, and divided
1/4 cup oil
2 eggs
1 envelope whipped topping mix (like Dream Whip)
Grease 13 x 9 baking dish. Combine cake mix, 1 1/4 cup root beer, oil, and eggs. Beat until well blended. Pour into baking dish. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cool completely.
Combine remaining root beer and whipped topping mix. Beat until soft peaks form (a few minutes). Frost cake.
If you have any quick and easy recipes you'd like me to feature on this blog, please email me. (My email address is in my profile). I'll be glad to link back to your blog.
